The B&B Roma 474 is located on a hill just above the Vatican. The back of the building faces a residential enclave of tree-lined streets and terraced buildings. The front is on the Via Gregorio VII, one of the main streets that surround the Vatican. Across this street is a gorgeous walled park, filled with evergreens that provide greenery year round. The nearby Villa Pamphili is also a great place to unwind and have fun – perfect for those travelling with children.
Our B&B is easily connected to all parts of Rome. Just outside our building are two bus stops with 9 routes that serve St. Peter’s Square, Piazza Venezia, Via del Corso, Trastevere and numerous other tourist spots. Please note that the Vatican can also be reached by foot in a 20-minute walk down a pine tree lined street with shops and Italian ‘bars’ (where locals stop for an espresso consumed standing up). Near the B&B is also the St Peter’s Train station, offering a quick connection to Termini (Rome’s main train station). In addition, five minutes away is the Metro Line A (connecting to the Spanish Steps). Also nearby are two taxi stations and a secured parking garage.
Without a doubt, our B&B’s strategic position in the Vatican zone and easy connection to the rest of the city will enable you to conveniently reach historical sights and shopping destinations across Rome. What’s more, the B&B is only steps away from restaurants, fast food, and supermarkets, as well as other stores. Within a few blocks, you can buy a slice of pizza or a leather bag or fine earrings (or even a designer chair!).
Indeed, you just need to step outside the door of our B&B’s building to begin experiencing the colours, the pine aromas, and the vibrancy that define the eternal city.
